For 20 years I was a Director of a B2B market research consultancy.  I have also worked for Weight Watchers as a Wellness Coach.

I have two adult daughters who have grown and flown. One is a psychiatrist, the other a tattoo artist. I am immensely proud of them both.

I enjoy socialising, live music, reading, watching box-sets, walking my dog, knitting and sewing.

I dance while I'm cooking, I sing while I'm driving and I enjoy life - but I wasn't always that way!

One-to-one therapy is very personal and it is difficult to be precise regarding numbers of sessions which will be required.

Because of this, I do not like to sell packages of sessions. I charge on a session-by-session basis. I will treat you as effectively and swiftly as I am able to.

Below are the prices for the main areas I work in. I hope they help. We simply don't know exactly how quickly you will feel the benefit, but this will give you a good idea of what to expect.

FREE INITIAL CONSULTATION CALL
I always like to have a chat on the phone before booking anyone in. This call is free and no-obligation - it's simply a case of finding out a little about you and how I might best be able to help so that if you go ahead a book a session we hit the ground running. So, give me a call - you literally have nothing to lose.

ANXIETY
First session £90. Subsequent sessions £70.
I ask people to budget for 3 sessions which would be a total of £230. Sometimes we sort it out in 2 sessions, sometimes people want to see me for more.
Audio recordings of appropriate sessions included.

WEIGHT LOSS
First session £90. Subsequent sessions £70.
Most people feel very different about food after one session, but I always book a follow-up so you need to expect to have at least 2 sessions.
A total of 3 or 4 sessions would be average, but sometimes people want to see me for top-ups every 6 weeks or so going forward.

FEARS & PHOBIAS
First session £90. Subsequent sessions £70.

Sometimes we need 4 sessions, sometimes 2 is enough.

SELF-ESTEEM AND CONFIDENCE
First session £90. Subsequent sessions £70.
I usually ask people to budget for 3 sessions which would be a total of £230. If we are simply preparing for a job interview, one should be enough whereas chronic social anxiety would usually take longer.

NERVE PAIN/MS
First session £90. Subsequent sessions £70.
It is impossible to know exactly how many sessions you will need/want, but I would expect you to be feeling much better after 3 sessions which would be a total of £230.

One session of £120 with personal audio recording and complimentary access to the entire pre-recorded 'Sleep Well' course.
or
£35 for the 'Sleep Well' course. 

SMOKING/VAPING/DRINKING/DRUG USE
Single session smoking/vaping/drinking or drug use £150.
Audio recording of session included.
Subsequent sessions to address any related issues or or as top-ups are charged at £70 each.

Hypnosis is an altered state of awareness during which the subconscious mind is more receptive to suggestion.

It is extremely powerful and can even be used in place of anaesthesia.  See this link to a documentary showing the use of hypnosis during dental work and surgery.  Amazing!

Hypnosis cannot be used to make someone do or believe anything they find unacceptable.  

Yes - even those guys you see on stage clucking like chickens!  The stage hypnotist carefully selects their 'subjects' for hypnotisability.

In broad terms - yes.

Most people are capable of entering a deep enough trance for hypnotherapy to be a powerful tool for change.

Hypnotherapy is therapy conducted whilst the patient in a state of hypnosis.  Hypnosis gives us access to the subconscious mind which controls 97 percent of our behaviour and thinking patterns.

In the case of habits such as overeating and smoking, I help to re-programme your subconscious thoughts, responses and behaviours surrounding the habit.  

In the case of emotional issues such as anxiety, self-esteem or phobias,  I help to re-programme your subconscious so you view things differently, feel differently, react and behave differently.  

I aim to help you to find clarity, calm and control.  I aim to help you leave behind the old rubbish and start making the most of your life.

My consulting rooms are in Stone, Staffordshire.  Stone is close to Stoke-on-Trent, Newcastle-under-Lyme and Stafford.  However I also work online via Skype.
Skype sessions are proving to be just as effective as face-to-face.

I went to Lucy for fear of flying, I had two plane journeys the beginning of the year and developed a phobia, I had a panic attack for the first time in my life on the plane and with a once in a lifetime trip to Lapland with all of my family planned I genuinely didn't think I could go. I explained all this to Lucy and she said she could help. The sessions were the highlight of my week, so relaxing and helpful and Lucy recorded them for me to listen back to if I wanted to and I did religiously just because I enjoyed them so much. I was awarded a Distinction in my Practitioner Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy. This qualification is accredited by the General Hypnotherapy Standards Council and the British Psychological Society.

I hold a Diploma in Neuro-Linguistic Programming and have completed specialist training in the use of Hypnotherapy in both smoking cessation and weight management.

I also have lots of O-levels and A-levels and an Honours degree in English Literature, but those are all from a very long time ago and didn't equip me for a great deal in life.
