Anxiety

It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that almost everyone I work with is dealing with an issue which is based, at least in part, in anxiety.

Life can stressful and demanding and exhausting.  These things can all lead to anxiety which can manifest in many different ways.

Forgetting how to relax, how to switch off and sleep.  Anxiety often results in periods of insomnia - either an inability to fall asleep or to stay asleep.

Forgetting how to enjoy life.  Forgetting how it felt to just be ok, let alone how to have fun.

Opting out, falling ill, staying in, not engaging with the world.  Maybe developing issues with socialising or driving or even going into work.

Getting obsessive - trying to control everything, micro-manage everything.

Ruminating and catastrophising - going over and over the same negative thoughts, unable to make progress with them, unable to let them go.

Panicking.  Maybe having a panic attack and then panicking about panicking.  Looking for symptoms, getting more and more anxious.

Smoking, drinking or eating more.  Feeling bad about it and so smoking, drinking or eating yet more.  Getting more and more anxious, feeling more and more helpless.

The list goes on!  There are so many manifestations of anxiety.  Phobias, emotional eating, addictions and habits, sleep problems, skin problems, migraines...

The good news is that Hypnotherapy can really help calm your over-anxious mind and help you to move forward again and enjoy life.

'The difficulties I have recently gone through now have clarity and no longer affect me in the way they previously did, with all this coming from the empathy and guidance Lucy provided.'

'I found Lucy to be so easy to talk to and she understood my needs and how to help.  I had 3 sessions and as a result feel a lot happier, calmer with less anxiety and less overthinking.'

'I have a problem with having passengers in my car and driving to new places.  I overthought everything.  Everything seemed massive to me... Lucy listened to me, empathised with me and really made me feel at ease.  It was my first time being hypnotised and immediately I felt a shift - I was a lot calmer. After my second session I feel ready to take a different approach to be calm and I feel more confident that I can do and achieve what I want to.  My adventure is just beginning.'

PRICES    Any therapy is very personal and it is difficult to be precise regarding numbers of sessions which will be required.  Because of this, I do not like to sell packages of sessions. I charge on a session-by-session basis. I will treat you as effectively and swiftly as I am able to.

First session £90. Subsequent sessions £70.
It is impossible to know exactly how many sessions you will need. To be on the safe side, I usually ask people to budget for 3 sessions which would be a total of £230. Sometimes we sort it out in 2 sessions, sometimes people want to see me for more.
Audio recordings of appropriate sessions included.

In addition, I always like to have a chat on the phone before booking anyone in. This call is free and no-obligation - it's simply a case of finding out a little about you and how I might best be able to help so that if you go ahead a book a session we hit the ground running. So, give me a call - you literally have nothing to lose.
